MHIAA would like to announce that after a successful five years, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd wall mount reverse cycle split system models SRK63ZEA-S1 and SRK71ZEA-S1 are no longer available.

They have been succeeded by new models in the SRK**ZK-S range which will be available soon. Please contact your MHIAA representative for details.

Please be informed that the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd model FDEN140VNXVD 14.0kW Under-ceiling reverse cycle split system is not compliant with South Australia and Queensland Minimum Efficiency Performance Standard (MEPS).

MHIAA is opening a branch office in Auckland, New Zealand

On the 1st January 2011 – Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air‐Conditioners Australia Pty, Ltd. (MHIAA) will embark on direct sales in New Zealand by opening a branch office in Auckland.

Marketing, recruitment and business activities will commence in October 2010 from our new premises based in Albany.

This improvement will help provide technicians and installers in the market and reduce the demand for technical support by phone. The year of production for each model is defined at the beginning of the file name for easy selection of the technical manual.

Superseded model SRK10CHVA-S & new models SRK10YJ-S, SRK13YJ-S, SRK18YJ-S

Please be advised that model SRK10CHVA-S 2.5kW Cool only wall split type is no longer available.
It will be replaced by SRK10YJ-S 2.5kW Cool only wall split type.

Additional new models in the range include SRK13YJ-S 3.5kW Cool only wall split type and SRK18YJ-S 5.0kW Cool only wall split type.

These new models use R410A and have inverter driven compressors.

Supply of these new models is scheduled for September 2010.

SRK80ZEA-S2

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia, Pty. Ltd will introduce SRK80ZEA-S2 in December 2009.

SRK80ZEA-S2 is rated at 7.5kW total cooling capacity and is registered to the 2010 MEPS and energy labelling standard; therefore this model will adopt the new format of energy labelling.

The new energy label star algorithm for 2010 will result in a reduced number of stars achieved in comparison with the 2007 algorithm; it will also incorporate AEER/ ACOP (Annual Energy Efficiency Ratio/ Coefficient of Performance) results which include standby power in the star rating calculation process...
