Sales Representative

Office Location: Kingsgrove, NSW

Reports to: State Manager
Status: Full-time Permanent
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Purpose: To maximise our opportunities and maintain a consistent flow of MHI product to the consumer market through our retail channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage MHI product sales to an agreed market strategy
  • Support customers by preparing a regular call cycle and maintain accurate records of all meetings.
  • Respond to customer phone calls and emails within 24 hours
  • Ensure all customers have sufficient product information and brochures to support MHIAA product sales
  • Seek payment by phone, fax, mail and/or email from customers
  • Source, set up and develop existing and new customers in coordination with team members
  • Ensure stock (indoor and outdoor unit) reconciliation with the customer at their location
  • Ensure stock at stores is undamaged
  • Produce evaluations and advise on the use of company products in a professional and timely manner as and when required.
  • Prepare and present training as required for local wholesalers, retailers and their staff
  • Ensure technical information and software are current and available to customers
  • Provide courteous, prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers on the telephone and personally
  • Support our knowledge sharing culture by participating in knowledge management initiatives such as product training and review meetings as required.
  • Prepare regular weekly and monthly reports
  • Network within industry to provide effective feedback on market state of affairs
  • Assist managers with account resolutions and payment within agreed trading terms.
  • Update relevant information held in Navision for all account holders

Customer Service & Dispatch Representative

Location: Kingsgrove, NSW

Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Status: Full-time FIXED-TERM
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Purpose: To provide order management services to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) customer base. Planning includes collection, prioritisation and issuing of customer orders & returns to the warehouse, organising special deliveries and the reconciliation of despatches. This position will manage key accounts customers invoicing and credits.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Stock availability, answering customer phone / e-mail enquiries in a timely manner, Investigating delivery dates (ETA’s), effective correspondence with all parties;
  • Order processing and reconciliation;
  • Processing customer credits – in support of the Credit Manager;
  • Processing customer returns;
  • Managing Forward and Back Orders;
  • Mailing and Filing;
  • Credit account maintenance;
  • Be back-up for invoicing and batching;
  • Inventory Reconciliation on a weekly basis;
  • Shipment Status Updates;
  • Opening new accounts and processing new credit account applications;
  • Maintenance of accounts and customer cards in Navision;
  • Other administration tasks as directed by the manager.

Technical Service Engineer

Location: Notting Hill, Victoria

Reports to: National Service & Product Manager
Status: Full-time Permanent
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Purpose: To provide Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia PTY LTD (MHIAA) with responsive technical service acumen and accurate technical support 

Responsibilities:

  • General support of MHI air conditioning products to the Australian market;
  • Support National Service Manager and Regional Service Manager with technical and epidemic failure information and parts recovery as required;
  • Support Service Agents with spare part selection assistance and technical service and commissioning support by phone, fax and email;
  • Support the Regional Service Managers with selection when sourcing spare parts or replacement units;
  • Assist with analysis of WCO data of a technical or trade related nature as requested;
  • Attend with the Regional Service Manager and provide Bi-Annual training seminars that are set by the National Service Manager to the regional Authorised Service Agent networks.
  • Manage Warranty Claim Orders (ACW) within consumer law and MHI Warranty guidelines, approve/reject and process claims to accounts department where required;
  • Visit site on request of the National Service Manager or Regional Service Manager and report as directed;
  • Where requested complete KX VRF commissioning on site and reporting in writing with supporting Mente PC Data/E-Solution files;
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of the commissioning reports;
  • Carry out technical field tests and checks and report as required;
  • Carry out in house modification to equipment and report as required;
  • QA customer E-Solution reports from design stage to as built with field pipe lengths and related Mente PC Data;
  • Demonstrate operation of control systems to end users and installation/service contractors as requested;
  • Provide training in both “Fault finding techniques” and “KX systems installation and commissioning” both in house and on-site as arranged by the National Service Manager and/or the Regional Service Manager;
  • Support the Sales Account Managers with delivery of technical information where required;
  • Carry out call cycles and active correspondence to specific entities such as Consulting Mechanical Engineers advised by the National Service Manager and State Manager or where mutually agreed.  Report on these activities on a monthly/bi-monthly basis;
  • Provide to this specific group E-Solution design software training/interpretation, product selection criteria and technical data/information where required;
  • QA the specific entitles E-Solution designs to ensure legitimacy as per the manufacturers’ equipment design specifications/limitations etc. and advise to these groups accordingly;
  • Supply quotes off the company operations system to these entities where required ensuring accuracy in pricing/delivery
